What is fertilizer?

Column:Company Product

1. The concept of chemical fertilizer

It refers to the inorganic fertilizer produced by chemical methods in the factory,

or mining ore, or using industrial waste residue.

Thus, there are three sources of chemical fertilizer:

1, chemical fertilizer plant production.

2, ore mining and processing.

3, industrial waste residue processing.

2, the characteristics of chemical fertilizer

(1). The content and concentration of active ingredients are high, but the element is
single. If urea contains N46%, diammonium contains N21%, contains P20548%。And the

N content in organic fertilizer is only 0.1-1%, it can be seen that 1 kilogram of chemical

fertilizer is equivalent to dozens to hundreds of pounds of organic fertilizer.

(2). The fertilizer effect plays quickly and has a quick effect, but the duration of the
fertilizer effect is short.
Summer 3 days can be effective. The fertilizer effect period is generally 3-6 months.
(3), mostly crystals or particles, occupy a small volume, easy to store, transport, and
use, but the cost is high.
(4), no organic matter, no soil improvement effect, and long-term application will
cause soil compaction.

3. Production and use of chemical fertilizer

The world first produced chemical fertilizer in 1845 (France, Germany). China
produced and applied chemical fertilizer in coastal cities in 1936.

4. The trend of chemical fertilizer development in the world today

(1), high efficiency: high concentration, higher nutritional element content, higher
fertilizer efficiency;
(2), liquid: not only convenient for pipeline transportation and suitable for drip
irrigation, and sprinkler irrigation application, but also save labor.
(3), compound: add a variety of trace elements, make multiple compound fertilizers,
can also be added herbicides and pesticides to make integrated fertilizers, play a
comprehensive effect, multi-functional role.
(4), long-term effect: by reducing the release and decomposition rate, prolonging the

fertilizer effect. Such as coating urea, humic acid urea, etc.

    5. Types of chemical fertilizer

According to the different nutritional elements contained, they are divided into 5 categories:

(1). Nitrogen fertilizer (according to different nitrogen forms)(1) Ammonium nitrogen fertilizer, (2) nitrate nitrogen fertilizer, and (3) amide
nitrogen fertilizer
(2). phosphate fertilizer (according to the solubility of phosphate fertilizer)

        1) Water-soluble phosphate fertilizer

        2) weak acid-soluble phosphate fertilizer

        3)insoluble phosphate fertilizer

(3), the main varieties of potash fertilizer are: potassium sulfate, potassium chloride,
etc.
(4). Compound fertilizer is divided into two yuan compound fertilizers and multiple
compound fertilizer: converted into compound fertilizer and mixed into compound
fertilizer.

    (5) . Micro-fertilizers mainly include:

iron (Fe) fertilizer, zinc (Zn) fertilizer, boron (B) fertilizer, manganese (Mn) fertilizer, and so on.
